Rooted directly into an exposed limestone escarpment, this private residence uses massive dry-stacked masonry walls to anchor interior volumes against prevailing alpine winds, balancing thermal mass with expansive courtyard glazing.
Urban Adaptive Reuse
The Foundry Conversion
A disused industrial warehouse transformed into a light-filled architectural studio and gallery. Original heavy timber trusses and cast-iron columns are left exposed, punctuated by a newly carved central lightwell that drives daylight down to the working plane.
